Long Dark Days with cold temperatures can tempt us all to stay inside our homes and hibernate. It might be days or weeks until we see family or talk with our friends. This is not healthy for us. Depression can set in leaving us feeling sad, lonely and tired. This cycle can be hard to break out of. Believe me, I understand. I love an excuse to have a snow day here and there and stay in my P.J’s and binge watch my favorite shows on television, but I see the need to force myself to get back into the real world. If going outside is not an option then call, text or email positive people. However, you can reach out and stay connected! Let’s fight these winter blues together!!
